This region is bordered on the north by Ballona Creek and Baldwin Hills, on the south by the Palos Verdes Peninsula and the Madrona Marsh, on the east by Culver City, Inglewood, Hawthorne and Gardena, and on the west by the sands of the Pacific Ocean.
